EU directive – Patient mobility

Planned treatment at a public hospital in Denmark against a fee.

Following the implementation of the above EU directive in the Danish legislation, it will be possible as of 1 January 2014 to arrange treatment at a public hospital in Denmark against a fee.

If you request further information about your possibilities of planned treatment at a public hospital in Region Zealand, please contact Patientvejledningen at Patientvejledningen@regionsjaelland.dk or on +45 70 15 50 01 during telephone hours Monday to Thursday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Prior to planned treatment at a hospital in Denmark, a number of requirements must be met. Region Zealand request that you fill in the attached information form and send it to Patientvejledningen in Region Zealand.
