​Present research areas.

We perform research in all aspects of clinical, epidemiological an population-based otorhinolaryngology diseases. At present main focus is on:
  • Patient related outcome measures (PROMS) in ENT-diseases
  • Randomized controlled trials
  • Questionnaire validation
  • Population-based cohort studies involving registers and research databases as Lolland-Falster undersøgelsen (LOFUS) and Better health for mother and Child (mor-barn kohorten)
  • Collaboration research studies with ENT-practice via DØNHOF (see www.doenho.dk)
  • Otitis media in all aspects incl mastoiditis
  • Surgery for chronic tympanic membrane perforations
  • Ventilation tube dysfunction (VTD)
  • VTD and Otovent in irradiated head and neck cancer patients
  • Mb Meniere
  • Biofilm
  • Sinusitis with polyps (CRSwP)
  • Laryngitis/papilloma of the larynx
  • Dysphagia – Zenker’s diverticulum
  • Rehabilitation after head and neck cancer treatment
  • Sleep apnea
  • Thyroid surgery incl hypocalcaemia
  • Salivary gland tumors
  • Lymphoma in salivary glands
  • Sialolithiasis
  • ENT diseases in Greenland
  • Ultrasound in Head and Neck diseases
